I don’t know of any better quote for artists. We all tend to, sometimes and sometimes many times, kind of get ourselves in slow motion. We think more about painting than we actually paint. Granted we can come up with ideas that sound wonderful in our head but never put down on paper or canvas. I’ve done this many times until I’ve realized I will never get better unless I actually do the work. Duh….
